This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your research findings, share experiences on best practices, and contribute to the collective knowledge in Internal Medicine.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Categories<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Celebrating over two decades of KAP updates in sub-specialties of medicine\/clinical guideline<\/li>\n<li>Clinical research with an emphasis on collaborative research in the various sub-specialties\u2019 of medicine<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Abstracts are welcome on the following topics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Format<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Abstracts must be prepared in English and should not exceed 350 words or 300 words if including a table or figure.<\/p>\n<p>Abstracts should follow the outlined format:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subtheme \u2013 sub-specialty<\/li>\n<li>Authors and affiliations<\/li>\n<li>Corresponding author and contact details: Name, email, phone number<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Abstract Outline<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Background:<\/strong>\u00a0A concise statement of the issue under investigation, the program, intervention, research\/evaluation, or case study. Please provide a clear problem statement and context.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objectives:<\/strong>\u00a0Objective or purpose of the intervention, research\/evaluation, or case review.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Methods:<\/strong>\u00a0Description of the intervention, model, or research\/evaluation methods used.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Results:<\/strong>\u00a0Specific findings or outcomes\/achievements of the intervention, model, or research\/evaluation. Include lessons learned and the effects of the intervention\/model\/policy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conclusions, recommendations and implications:<\/strong>\u00a0Based on your results, describe how this activity could inform\/guide other programs and policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Abstract Acceptance<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants will be notified via email. The corresponding author will receive the notification and will be responsible for informing co-authors. All accepted abstracts will be listed on the conference website and made available in full on the KAP website following the conference.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Mode of Presentation<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Oral and posters presentations during the meeting, there will be no virtual option.<\/p>\n<p>Please indicate your presentation type: oral presentation 15-20 minutes or poster presentation.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Review process<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Abstract proposals will be evaluated through blind peer review.
