Studied her undergraduate degree at The University of Nairobi and then Proceeded for postgraduate studies getting Masters in Medicine from University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg South Africa and a Fellowship from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA) in Cape Town.  She is a founding Fellow of College of Physicians of East, Central and Southern Africa (ECSACOP).

A specialist Gastroenterologist from The WGO (World Gastroenterology Organization).

Trainer at the WGO/ WEO (World Endoscopy Organization) Nairobi Training Center.

She is a part time lecturer at The University of Nairobi. She is an Executive committee member KAP Nairobi and The Secretary of the Gastroenterology Society of Kenya.
